Hi-Tech Engineering is a world-class provider of conventional and CNC milling services to the aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial markets, and has been in business since 1979. We specialize in manufacturing close tolerance components and complex subassemblies, including the flexibility to build prototypes and tooling for both small and large scale volume production. We work with high temperature steels, super alloys, engineered polymers and composites.
Our current facility, spanning 21” x 26” and 17” x 64”, houses (3) 3-axis CNC Mill, (2) 5-axis CNC Mills, (1) Large format CNC Mill, and (2) Manual Mills. We are proud partners with HAAS for all of our machines, and work closely with them to keep every machine well maintained and working effectively.
Our programmers stay on the cutting edge of materials science, design for manufacturing best practices, and machining technology to deliver value-based solutions for components of any shape or complexity.
Hi-Tech Engineering’s CNC turning services utilize Master Cam, Productivity Plus software, and machine tool technologies to manufacture complex parts and assemblies per industry best practice and the highest standards of quality.
Our facility houses (1) Manual Lathe and (1) CNC lathe capable of working with standard and exotic metals, high performance alloys, engineered polymers, and cutting edge composites. The flexibility of our operation enables us to engage in complex prototyping and tool building projects as well as execute high volume production runs.
Similar to our Milling capabilities, our programmers are capable of offering intelligent design guidance as well as defining robust manufacturing strategies for the efficient production of precision turned parts.
Hi-Tech Engineering’s Assembly services puts the final touch on components connecting the dots from design & production in prep for final delivery. Our team is skilled at full assembly of components utilizing fasteners, bolts and rivets using power and pneumatic hand tools, using grinders to smooth welds on finished goods, and crating finished goods for either shipment or delivery.
Our machinists bring visual acuity, dexterity and attention to detail to every step of the Assembly process ensuring quality standards are maintained every step of the way.
Hi-Tech Engineering Quality Systems have resulted in YTD on time delivery of 98.68% and a 99.89% quality performance. As a quality-driven organization, our production and inspection processes are governed through an ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 Rev D quality management system to ensure component specifications are met.
Quality and dedicated project management drives timely completion of projects from acquiring raw material through manufacturing to final custom specialty finishes.
We ensure all internal and outsourced services provide certificates of conformance and test reports. We maintain a dedicated QC inspection room with a full range of calibrated measurement and inspection equipment, including a Mitutoyo Crysta PM 7106 CMM (34.65” x 67.72” x 31.5” high), Mitutoyo PH3500 Profile Projector, Mitutoyo TM microscope, and a Hexagon Global S Green CMM (56” x 125” x 33”) which enables fully programmable QC inspection options. All inspection equipment is calibrated in accordance with and traceable to the requirements of ISO 10012, ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.1.
